A phased development.
All work completed whilst A&E Department remained in full service.
Existing A&E facilities expanded to provide new Resuscitation suite, A&E public Entrance and Blue Light Emergency entrance.
Reception/waiting area, disabled WC suite, new See & Treat examination rooms.
The additional accommodation was formed by extending facilities beneath an existing external ambulance canopy. The canopy was stripped back to the steel frame and new insulated roof/fascia panels provided.
New double glazed curtain walls with feature coloured glass.
Secure yet open friendly reception area.
Rendered insulated blockwork walls with bright colour to highlight entrance.
New smaller scale ambulance canopy constructed adjacent to separate Blue Light Emergency entrance. |
