WORK:

Andrew Ledbetter formed Globe Architects in 1993. Andrew is a Chartered Architect and a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects. As Managing Director of the company Andrew is involved in all aspects of company life ranging from management of all company systems, principal company interior architectural and landscape design, involvement in all aspects of project development from inception through to completion. Principal Designer on Globe projects with regard to CDM Health & Safety Regulations.

Following professional training and qualification at The University of Sheffield, Andrew has worked extensively within the Healthcare, Education, Transport and Environmental design architectural sectors.

In all instances, working closely with our clients, Globe Architects strive to fulfil our clients aspirations and endeavour to exceed their best expectations. Particularly within the healthcare market, Andrew has been involved in projects incorporating the latest technological developments in diagnostic and treatment suites. Globe Architects have enjoyed many repeat commissions from satisfied clients.

Andrew enjoys and successfully combines his duties as Principal Company Designer and Project Manager, balancing these duties with the successful day to day running of the business.

LIFE: Andrew enjoys winter sports activities and making music with friends. However, the day job is safe.

LAURA PAGE

WORK:

Since completing her part 1 degree 5 years ago, Laura has worked in several small architect practices within Sheffield before joining Globe Architects. Laura has a wide range of skills and experiences within the design process, using various computing software.

Laura undertakes the role of BIM management Co-ordinator where required on Globe projects.

Laura has been involved in the initial and detailed development of numerous Globe Architects' Healthcare projects.

LIFE: Laura has recently moved into her first own home accompanied by 2 cats. She enjoys reading, meeting friends for hot chocolates and movies.

SIAN SMITH

BSc Hons

WORK:

Sian has graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BSc Honours degree in Architecture and has always has a keen eye for design. A skilled artist with passion for Architecture which has developed from her love for fine art.. The artistic skills she has developed from an early age and studying fine art A level have helped her establish an effective creative process to develop ideas, which has added to her growing architectural capabilities.

Sian's architectural aims are to improve and create better and stronger communities and quality of life, as well as being committed to reducing environmental impact through design. 

LIFE: Sian enjoys cooking, painting and going to the gym.

BONNIE JACKSON

BA Hons Architecture

WORK:

Upon graduating from the University of Sheffield with a BA Honours degree in Architecture, Bonnie joined Globe Architects in 2019. Her design ethos relates to her interest in Architecture as a social & environmental issue, and how the built environment can be used as a design tool to improve the well-being of its users. With an emphasis on the materiality & sensory experience of space, Bonnie is keen to integrate her creative background in art, design and textiles into her work.

LIFE: Bonnie enjoys hobbies such as embroidery, clothes-making, drawing & beekeeping.
