Globe Architects Ltd is a dynamic architectural company, formed in 1993 by Andrew Ledbetter, Chartered Architect and member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Globe Architects Ltd provide architectural, landscape and interior design, environmental design and planning services, concentrating on niche areas of specialisation, namely healthcare (in particular, specialist diagnostic healthcare facilities), education and community/environmentally sensitive projects.

Globe Architects’ provision of specialist design skills is based upon the training and expertise of the fully qualified architectural and technological core staff. Globe Architects undertake commissions across the UK for an impressive range of prestigious clients.

The company maintains an open plan studio environment located within the Neepsend, Kelham Island area of Sheffield.

The architectural, technical and administration sections of the company utilise the latest information technology to better serve our clients and maximise internal efficiencies.

As well as utilising the latest AutoCAD drawing packages (2D and 3D) and word processing software, Globe Architects subscribe to the National Building Specification, keeping the company abreast of technical and quality construction matters. Our designers are proficient in the application of the CDM Regulations’ Health and Safety requirements. We maintain an in-house technical library and product samples.

Globe Architects are also able to provide clients with specialist artwork and presentation skills, producing manual and computer generated visuals for public meetings, displays etc.

Globe Architects Ltd are able to assemble complete multi-disciplinary design teams. We are able to offer additional professional services to compliment specific commissions, including Quantity Surveying, Structural Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and CDM co-ordinator duties, through our network of well established sub-consultants.
